Really nice experience at Centrepoint! The store has a great variety of products—from clothing to home essentials—all in one place. Everything was neatly arranged, making it easy to find what I needed. The staff were polite and helpful, and the prices were very reasonable. Definitely a convenient spot for quality shopping!

This is NOT the first or second time I visit the Centrepoint branch at Yas Mall and find the self-checkout CLOSED. This has happened MORE THAN FOUR TIMES. What is unacceptable is that self-checkout is OPEN and working normally in ALL other Centrepoint branches, except Yas Mall. At this branch, the self-checkout seems to be deliberately kept closed and is only opened when customers start getting angry or when staff notice someone recording to file a complaint. This behavior is extremely frustrating and unprofessional. It causes unnecessary delays, long queues at the cash tills, and clearly shows a lack of respect for customers’ time. There is absolutely no valid excuse for keeping a service closed that is available in every other branch. This issue needs to be addressed immediately. Customers should not have to complain, argue, or threaten to report the situation just to access a basic service that is already installed and available.

I would like to submit a complaint regarding my experience today at your branch with one of your employees, Dalma. Unfortunately, this was not a pleasant experience, and it is also not the first issue I have had with the same employee. I was very disappointed with the way I was treated. The queue was quite long, and when it was finally my turn at the self-checkout, Dalma refused to process my purchase, claiming that I had too many items and asking me to move to another counter. However, I have visited this branch many times before and have often been assisted at the self-checkout with even more items than I had today. In this case, I only had around five items, which I do not believe is an excessive amount. When I politely insisted on being served, she began handling my items in a careless and unprofessional manner. Furthermore, when I spoke to her, she did not respond. She proceeded directly to the payment process without asking whether I had a discount card or membership. After I informed her that I did have a discount, she then started scanning my friend’s items instead, while continuing to ignore us. My friend eventually asked her, “Are you speaking to us or not?” and her response was simply, “No.” I would appreciate understanding how long customers are expected to continue dealing with an employee who repeatedly demonstrates such poor customer service and lack of professionalism. I would like to emphasize once again that this is not the first negative experience I have had with this particular employee. I hope this matter will be taken seriously and addressed appropriately to ensure a better experience for your customers in the future.
