Home Centre cancelled our fully paid order without any prior notice, and the handling of this situation has been extremely disappointing. We purchased furniture and a mattress in-store and clearly informed the salesperson that we would require delivery after two months. We were assured that this arrangement could be made without issue. We later scheduled the delivery for 27th February, which was confirmed. However, on 16th February, we received an email stating that our order had been cancelled. This came as a complete shock. There was no prior notification, no phone call, and no explanation beforehand. When we contacted customer service, we were told this was a “system-generated cancellation” and that if we still wanted the items, we would have to repurchase them at a 20% higher price. This is unacceptable. The error is clearly on Home Centre’s side, yet we are being asked to bear the financial consequence. To make matters worse, customer support was unable to provide any meaningful assistance or solution. We expect this issue to be taken seriously and resolved appropriately. We had a confirmed delivery date, and the order was fully paid. Home Centre should honor the original purchase and price instead of passing the burden of their system error onto customers. This experience has been frustrating and deeply disappointing. I sincerely hope management intervenes and resolves this matter promptly.

I had a wonderful experience at HomeCentre Dubai Hills today. Rohana, who was working as a cashier, was extremely courteous and professional. She explained the offers clearly, handled payment quickly, and thanked me warmly at the end. Staff like Rohana really make shopping pleasant. Keep up the great work!

Rip-off! they sent me an oxidized marble which has a very large orange stain and refused to exchange or cancel the order! it looks like garbage and i wasted my money! extremely disappointing customer service and unjust decision!

Very disappointing experience. The delivery team took away the original packaging without my permission before I had the chance to properly inspect the item. Later, when I realized the product was not what I expected and requested a return/exchange, the store refused because the packaging was “missing” — even though their own staff removed it themselves. I also have video evidence showing the delivery team taking the boxes. This feels extremely dishonest and gives the impression that the packaging was deliberately taken so the company could later deny refunds and exchanges.

I would like to formally raise a complaint regarding the extremely unprofessional experience I’ve had with my recent orders. I had scheduled two deliveries to the same location. The first one arrived at 8:45 PM, which is two hours after the final delivery time slot, and the second delivery never arrived at all while I was waiting until 10pm. Over the past two days, I have contacted your customer service team more than ten times, yet no one has been able to provide any real update or solution. Each time, I’m told that someone will call me back, but no one ever does. After being assured at almost 9pm last night that the second delivery would arrive the following day, I kept calling again, only to be told now that it’s being pushed to next week, with very rude female customer representative. To make matters worse, the driver does not answer the phone. When I requested a refund, I was told I must go to the store and apply in person, which is completely unacceptable given the circumstances. From what I see, this business it’s just for making money and no one cares if the customer is happy, which shows in low ratings from the other reviews. All conversations with your team have been recorded, and I truly hope someone reviews them to understand the number of false promises and lack of follow-up I’ve experienced. I will visit your Dubai Hills store to request a full refund. However, I sincerely hope that Home Centre reviews its delivery and customer service processes to prevent such issues from happening again.
