I had a great experience at Home Centre. The store offers a wide selection of furniture and home décor, with designs that suit both modern and classic tastes. What impressed me most was the quality compared to the pricing, you really get good value for money. The layout of the store makes it easy to browse and find inspiration for different rooms. The staff were professional and helpful, assisting without being intrusive. Overall, it’s a reliable place in Dubai for anyone looking to furnish or upgrade their home with stylish and practical pieces.

I recently purchased a decorative LED clock from the Home Centre Mirdif branch for AED 160. Initially, I was unsure whether it was worth the price, so I specifically asked the sales staff for their opinion. I was assured that it was a high-quality and durable product, which influenced my decision to go ahead with the purchase. However, within just a few weeks, the LED lights stopped working, despite minimal usage. This was very disappointing, especially considering the price I paid. When I visited customer service to seek assistance, my experience was equally frustrating. The staff were unprofessional and unhelpful. I clearly stated that I was not asking for a refund, but simply wanted the product to be repaired or replaced. Unfortunately, no proper support or solution was provided, and I felt the policies were rigid and not customer-friendly. As a regular and previously satisfied Home Centre customer, this experience has been very disappointing. I feel let down by both the product quality and the after-sales service. Sadly, this has affected my trust in the brand, and I don’t see myself purchasing from Home Centre again anytime soon.

I ordered a blackout curtain for my living room from them. I asked if they could come and take the measurements, and they said yes, but I had to pay for the measuring service. I paid for both the measurement service and the blackout curtain, which cost AED 1,100. After the installation, sunlight was coming through the top of the curtain, making it feel like it wasn’t even a blackout curtain. The next morning, I went back to the store and showed them photos. They told me to come back at 3 PM. I returned that afternoon, but they told me to come back the next day. When I went back, they claimed that I was the one who gave them the measurements. I told them that made no sense because I had paid for their measurement service, and they should have the record in their system. They then said, “Oh, okay, we’ll see what happens. Come back tomorrow.” On the third day, they changed their story again. They said the person who took the measurements had asked me where I wanted the curtain installed, and that I had agreed, so they claimed it was my fault. That is simply not true. The person who came to take the measurements never discussed that with me. From the very beginning, they kept changing their story and making excuses instead of taking responsibility. They never resolved my issue, so I filed a complaint with the Consumer Protection Department, and now I’m waiting to see what happens. The customer service was extremely disappointing, the communication was poor, and the way they handled my complaint was completely unprofessional. I would not recommend dealing with this company.

Worst Experience Ever with Home Centre – Mirdif City Centre Branch Unfortunately, my experience with Home Centre has been one of the worst consumer experiences I have ever had in terms of service, professionalism, time management, and execution quality. 1. Store Service – Mirdif City Centre The in-store service was extremely poor and completely unprofessional. There was no proper customer care or problem-solving approach. 2. 24-Hour Delay & Wrong Product Delivered • The order was delivered 24 hours late. • The wrong product was delivered. • Customer service promised to call me back within one hour — no one ever did. • I had to follow up myself and was told I must visit the store and accept a credit note to repurchase the item again. 3. Internal Staff Error Causing Further Delay At the store, I waited 1.5 hours because the warehouse staff incorrectly registered receiving one item instead of two, which blocked the credit note issuance. I was then asked to wait an additional hour for the responsible employee to correct their internal mistake. I had to pay for an internal administrative error that was not my fault. 4. Wall TV Unit Installation Disaster After repurchasing and adding a Wall TV Unit: • Delivery was scheduled between 9 AM – 3 PM. • They arrived at 5 PM. • They installed the unit on the floor instead of mounting it on the wall. • They damaged the product. • The installers were not professionals and had no proper tools. • I was told I must contact customer service to book a separate installation appointment. Completely unreasonable. 5. Repeated Broken Promises • Promised callback within 2 hours – never happened. • Promised installation within 48 hours – then requested 48 more hours. • On 21/02/2025 I filed an official complaint. • I was 100% assured installation would happen on 22/02/2025 between 9 AM – 3 PM. • I cancelled my family plans based on this commitment. It is now 3:30 PM… and no one has arrived. ⸻ Final Outcome: • A full week of wasted time. • Ruined family weekend plans. • Continuous chasing and follow-ups. • Full payment made in advance including delivery fees with zero respect for commitments. Home Centre is: • Unprofessional • Disorganized • Not time-respectful • Unreliable I strongly do NOT recommend dealing with them. There are far better alternatives in pricing, quality, scheduling, and service. This review will not be removed under any circumstances. I will also be consulting my lawyer to file a civil complaint regarding the material and emotional damages caused by this week-long negligence and repeated delays.

I've had a terrible experience with this company. The staff demonstrated a lack of basic knowledge, professionalism, and basic customer service. I would not recommend this company to anyone. The furniture delivery and installation process was handled very poorly. It felt disorganized and unprofessional, as if no one involved understood how to do the job properly. My issue wasn't with just one employee or one department, it involved three different people, and the experience was consistently disappointing from start to finish. If I had known this was the level of service I would receive, I would have canceled my order. I genuinely regret making this purchase.
