On April 22, I bought a laptop from Sharaf DG at Mall of the Emirates. They claimed it was being sold with a special exclusive discount. The first issue was the laptop making extremely loud fan noise from day one. We went back to the store to return it and get a replacement, but neither the salesperson nor the store manager was willing to help in any way. Let me make this clear: if you buy something from them, know that returning it is practically impossible. Their entire process seems designed to make customers suffer rather than help them. The real shock came later when I realized this laptop had clearly been used before. They sold me a second-hand laptop under the name of a brand-new product. The keyboard keys are visibly dirty and faded, which is unacceptable for a “new” device. Unfortunately, because I had to relocate shortly after purchasing it, I did not use the laptop much at first and only noticed these issues later. Do not blindly trust the staff when buying from this store. Be very careful before purchasing anything from them.

Just bought from them an Asus Laptop and the sales kept strongly recommending the AMD Rayzen over the Intel processor however i shared with him my concerns which is battery draining and overheating however he confirmed this generation doesn’t have those issues. Less than two days of use my laptop battery is drained in less than two hours over browsing and sheets And overheating at the same time. They also pushed to activate microsoft account themselves and demanded my card details even though it’s already fully paid and they registered my card in their own Sharaf DG site not Microsoft which is an open door for cybersecurity theft and scam crimes. Their store price was 200 AED over the online price. Their number of sales people is more than the shoppers of the entire mall. Overall i would recommend people to go there do the viewing only and buy the product they want online for lower prices, also never buy an office subscription from them to avoid giving your card details. Extended warranty is a scam as they will still ask you to pay over 50% of the actual repair cost if something goes wrong. And most importantly just avoid Sharaf DG at all to avoid their hassle and how manipulating they are when it comes to our data and banking details safety.

I recently visited Sharaf DG at Mall of the Emirates and had an excellent shopping experience from start to finish. The store offers an impressive selection of electronics, gadgets, home appliances, and accessories, making it easy to compare different brands and find the right product. What stood out most was the quality of customer service. The staff were professional, approachable, and genuinely interested in helping rather than simply making a sale. They patiently explained product features, compared different options, and provided honest recommendations based on my requirements and budget. The store itself is spacious, clean, and well-organized, with products clearly displayed and easy to locate. Despite the store being busy, the team remained attentive and ensured customers received prompt assistance. The checkout process was smooth and efficient, and the staff handled everything professionally. I was also impressed by the variety of promotions and offers available, which provided excellent value for money. It’s clear that Sharaf DG strives to maintain high standards in both product quality and customer satisfaction. Overall, this was one of the best electronics retail experiences I have had in Dubai. I highly recommend Sharaf DG at Mall of the Emirates to anyone looking for a wide product selection, competitive pricing, and outstanding customer service. I will certainly be returning for future purchases.

I had a very unpleasant experience with Sharaf DG, and I would not recommend buying from or dealing with them. I purchased Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro and was strongly pushed by the salesperson to buy the extended warranty. I was clearly assured that any issue whatsoever would be fully covered. After some time, one of the earbuds stopped working. I sent it for repair twice, and both times I was told that there was “nothing wrong with it,” despite the issue persisting. When it stopped working again, it took almost a month to get it fixed. To my surprise, I was then informed that I had to pay 14% for the repair—despite the extended warranty and the promises made at the time of purchase.

Do not trust this store. We entered well before closing time — Mall of the Emirates CCTV can confirm the exact time of our entry. After a long wait, Nasir from Sharaf DG issued us an official sales order for an Apple MacBook and promised delivery plus a payment link. Then, instead of completing the sale, staff shut down their systems and pushed us out of the store mid-transaction. The delivery never happened. The payment link never came. We called four times over the weekend and were brushed off every single time. When we finally got an answer by the manager of the store he refused to honor the price on its own sales order and quoted a higher one — which UAE consumer protection law does not permit once an invoice has been issued. The manager was condescending and made zero effort to resolve anything. We hold the sales order and full documentation, and formal complaints are being filed with Sharaf DG HQ and Dubai's Department of Economy & Tourism (Consumer Protection), where the mall's CCTV footage can be requested to verify every word. We are frequent Mall of the Emirates customers — never again with Sharaf DG. The Apple Store and Virgin Megastore are in the same mall. Use them.
